MyACC

Springload were asked to use their human-centred design expertise to design a self service online platform that would allow ACC clients to complete tasks and manage their claims online, instead of phoning the call center. ACC's main goals for the project were to:

• make it easier for customers to interact with ACC
  
• empower customers to have more control of their recovery journey
  
• enable staff to spend more time on meaningful interactions with ACC’s customers.

I was responsible for leading and establishing the design direction of MyACC as well as managing the product's design system which later turned into ACCENT. As the sole designer on the product team I worked closely with the product owner and development team in fortnightly sprints.

In each sprint I was tasked with wireframing, user testing and designing new product features in Sketch (and later Figma) and also creating new illustrations or animations as needed. The animations for each of the sections in the website were introduced to bring a sense of calm and life to the product.
